50KVA solar power plant installed at Birchenough Bridge Hospital which has ensured constant power supply.

Refurbishment of the following clinics: Simona Clinic, 8Bindura District; Chinaka Clinic, Mutasa District; Nyamhunga Clinic, Gokwe South District; Masuka; and Tongwe Clinics, Gokwe South District are at 25% completion

Solar Power Installation at 10 Primary Care Clinics is 100% complete

Solar Power Installation at 10 Primary Care Clinics is 100% complete and solar power has been installed at the following clinics in Gokwe North: Gandavaroyi, Denda, Nenyunga, Vumba, Goredema, Kadzidirire and Tsungai , while in Chimanimani District Vimba Clinic and Nyunga Clinic had solar power installed.

Borehole drilling at 10 primary care clinics is at 100% complete with 10 health facilities having been installed with borehole water and water tanks as follows:- Murehwa, Chitate Clinic; Nyamutumbu clinic; UMP District, Borera Clinic,and Chitimba Clinic; Makoni District, Weya Rural Hospital, Chinenga Clinic, Rukweza Rural Health Centre, and Tandi Clinic; Mutasa District, Katiyo Sangambe Clinic.

Chirozva Rural Health Centre in Buhera Central now have potable water that is solar powered The government in 2021 deployed and employed ways to avert the water situation in Buhera as a whole.A blitz to drill boreholes was executed at Chirozva clinic, Betera clinic,Masasa clinic , Zangama clinic, Mutiusinazita clinic and Chimbudzi clinic to mention just a few. Peggers did their job well.Chisipite drilling did well in the mentioned sustainable water projects.

Use of CDF to complete clinic in Buhera

In line with the #NDS1, Buhera West constituency has used the CDF to complete Bere Clinic in Ward 2 and is now almost complete. People were traveling more than 15- 20 km to reach the nearest health facility."

Rehabilitation of Mpilo Hospital

The Radiotherapy Centre at Mpilo Hospital was resuscitated, and the Solar for Health Programme to benefit 70 clinics in line with Government’s drive towards adoption of Clean Energy, was also undertaken.

Hospital Upgrades

Construction of a dedicated water line to Bindura Hospital is now 91% complete, while the refurbishment of Chegutu District Hospital is 20% complete

Solar power had been installed at 129 of the targeted 150 primary care clinics during the current cycle.

100 procured ambulances

Government procured 100 ambulances. The first batch of the specialised vehicles is set to be delivered in August, with each province receiving between eight to 10 ambulances when all have been delivered later this year.
