Launch of the Sadza Community Information Centre in Hwedza

The Government through the Ministry of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services will continue to play a role in ensuring equitable access to digital technologies for all citizens, including those in unserved and underserved areas.

Launching Sadza Community Information Centre in Hwedza recently, ICT Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere said: “I cannot overemphasise the importance of digital technology in our endeavour to bridge the digital divide.

My Ministry will continue to play a critical role in this transformation agenda by ensuring equitable access to digital technologies by everyone.

Roll out of Information Centers

Site scoping and deployment of furniture and Local Area Network (LAN) at all the five Community Information Centres (CICs) established in Manicaland, Mashonaland West, Midlands and Masvingo provinces have been completed. Internet services have since been launched at three of the five CICs, while procurement of outstanding ICT equipment is in progress at all the five CICs.
